Abstract
Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica (TPO) is a relatirely rare disease characterized by submucosal cartilaginous or bony projection into the tracheobronchial lumen. The etiology and pathogenesis of TPO are still unknown. Although TPO was usually found through autopsy on the past, the disorder is now discovered more frequently at fiberoptic bronchoscopy and/or chest computed tomography. The clinical course is usually benign, however, it may cause significant tracheal stenosis. We experienced a case of tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica in 45 year old woman, associated with cough, fever and sore throat for 10 days.
